Marlin model 1897 .22lr take-down rifle. Made in 1902. Plain straight grip stock with orig. floor plate. The case hardened color and blue have worn away to a mottled grey/silver finish. Includes an original fold down front sight showing white bead when down and round peep type with gold bead when up. The gun is in excellent, working condition. I have seen these rifle sell for more in worse condition then mine.The wood stills shows varnish with some small dings, small piece out both side stock above floor plate .The bore is dark with sharp rifleing $ 1599.99
